Man, just starting to drink protein shakes and man they suck(as far as the mixing part).

I first tried to stir them with 8 ounces of water and a spoon.(can't drink milk) still lumpy. Then I tried the the blender. It did stir it good but now I have a foam shake. Yuck!

So I tried what this dude at the gym suggested and and mixed it up with just like a shot glass of water(kind of a thick goo) and downed it. And then I chased it with a couple glasses of water.

Then I jumped up and down and shaked like Elvis to mix it up inside.

Well, what about y'all? Having the same trouble with getting the lumps out of your protein shakes? Any other suggestions?

Get one of those handheld mixers that you stick into the glass. They look like plastic wands and do a hella good job of mixing without turning it into foam city. Around $25 from Wal-mart for a Braun.
