Hi all!
The Body Building European championship was held in Budapest,Hungary on the 10th of March.
There were 30 contenders from around the globe, 'cos it was an open contest. That's why Chris Cormier, Dennis James and the others could step on stage.
FLEX WHEELER (the next king for me after Arnie) was also here, he was the special guest for the evening.

The contest was like a real american show, we could see a lot of world famous great guys, and really satisfied hundreds of people not just from Hungary but from other european countrie. We had Weider Nutrition, Scitec Nutrition and other companies selling their stuffs, and the chance to get a picture or a signature with/from Flex.
If somebody haven't met with Flex yet, I can tell you: this guys is awesome, very kind and common, really enjoyed to be among people. Fortunately I have a signature from Flex himself.

And now about the contest:

In the first five we could see the great Chris Cormier, Dennis James and Dexter Jackson to name a few ( ) and the final results are:

1. Dennis James ( big surprise?! )
2. Chris Cormier
3. Dexter Jackson

So that was it, and I hope next year we'll see another grat american style show and contenders.

I feel sad because Flex retired, and will never step on stage again.

Peace brothers,

Strength - i beleive his retirement was related to his colitis, which he recently developed.

I dunno what was the reason he retired, as I know he didn't tell anything about that.
My opinion is that he couldn't win any Mr.O title and he retired, but a possible injury can be the cause.
But he was tremendous even he is 20 kg+ than his contest weight (1st time I didn't recognize him as Flex, his face changed a bit

It's a disease of the intestines. Mike Francois came down with it four years ago and has only judged events since instead of competing.
