Trioxsalen-aka Trisoralen(pharmaceutical drug)- Trisoralen is used for psoriasis vitiligo (is a condition where skin color fades) Doctors prescribe it to pale patients who might be be going to sunnier climates. The drug increases your tolerance to the sun and enhances pigmentation It doesnt prevent burning though. Trioxsalen acts on melanin which what makes one darker. The drug only works if you take it before sun exposure. The lighter you are the more benefit the drug will have. |
