looks like you're going skimpy on the protein. bump the protein up....precontest time is all about the protein. also more leafy greens would help. add 2 meals in there, this will teach your body to metabolize quicker and you'll have an easier time ripping up with a higher metabolism. other than that, looks pretty good for 12 weeks out....good luck PA

What do your daily totals come out to??? You MUST figure this out if you don't know.

PA, what would you do different at 6 weeks out?

at 6 weeks out, it's an all-out war. i weigh and write everything down and calculate to the last GRAM of carbohydrate. i like the carb cycling approach when i diet down. at 6 weeks out, i'm eating basically all whole foods and no protein powders. no fruits, breads, dairy, etc...the list is long. i usually use 2-3 different carb sources and only whole meats as protein sources. i also stop drinking anything but water and herbal teas about 8 weeks out. there are plenty of things i do in addition to these, but these are the basics. essentially, i don't want to give any of the other competitors an ounce of hope...i want to destroy them right when they see me at the weigh-in...those other competitors can fight for 2nd place PA

I would but the rice and use sweet potatoes at six weeks, I think you will see better results...do not forget to take your BCAA's they work great...good luck...

quote: i hope you're talking about "illegal aminos", CW....BCAAs at 6 weeks out are useless in my opinion....and plus, bodybuilders 6 weeks out or closer would MUCH rather eat real food than replace it with aminos or shakes....trust me...real food is highly regarded by precontest bodybuilders! I agree, I think they help me maintain some muscle, maybe not, but I also am using a little primo to protect against that... i am thinking about putting some halo in there to finish up, I have two shows in April one on the 7th and the other on the 14th, and hopefully I can qualify for the national qualifer show.... |
