Eat more real whole foods. Whey is good following a workout as it is quick protein but other than that I would keep it to solid wholesome food.

My personal experience tells me that whole food is alot better, especially if you are trying to put on mass.

Are you attempting to add muscle or lose fat? I ask this because it's a typical thing for people to think the diets must be different for each, but I am a walking example of someone who maintins a low BF level (5-9%), while putting on substantial mass with each cycle.

Let's look at what we are working with in VERY basic terms.
Protiens-the biggest thing to know here is that for each gram of protien your body processes, requires 6 calories. Each gram of protien holds 4 calories. IE-if you want to put on muscle, eat more fats, if you want to stay real lean, make most of your diet protein.
Fats-Energy, metabolism functions, hormonal functions, all very important to a bodybuilder. This is why I down MCT oil like it nothing. (Great source of veggie fats, which are the best.)
Carbs-energy. Energy is the enemy in a goal to keep lean, because ecess energy will be stored.

A diet like this 30%Protien/50%fats/20%carbs will yeild VERY nice results. Be sure to have your blood pressure checked about every month however, just to be on the safe side. Also, if you body is using fats as its main energy source, it will become more effecient at using body fats as well.
