I am sure this is probably common knowledge for all of you, but I want your opinions and comments from your point of view because I have come to trust the collective advice on this board. OK, this is the proposed plan, lifting 3 times a week and on those days lift the same muscle groups two times on that day (morning and night). Splitting core lifts between the two times, for example, bench morning-6-4-2 sets, night do light bench flys to failure, and do heavy 6-4-2 incline at night and light incline flyes in the morning. So you would only work individual muscle groups twice a day, one day a week. Does this work well with as?

no that doesnt sound good, man I say if you are going to work out 3 times a week you do this, 3days on 3days off, or 3on2off, like this: once a day: Mon-Chest and shoulders wed-legs fri-back and arms 3days on meaning 3 worknouts without missing more than 1 day between workouts . The only time you would workout at morning and at night is a split between cardio and weights. Preferably weights in the morning when you are the most rested. Keep in mind, if you're really working hard and stressing out your muscles, you'll be sore even later that day. Your muscles start the rebuilding process as soon as you stop using them in your workout. If you go again and hit the same muscles, but with different exercises the same day you start tearing them down again, and it's just like overtraining they will stay small. You need to let them rest in between and they'll grow. Make your workouts more compact and intense and you will not want to be thinking about the gym the same night. Try to get all those exercises into one workout. When on AS, you could increase the number of times you hit a muscle group in a week to two. As long as you have at least you're not hitting before two days rest in between, preferably three, and not every single week either. For example, I had an intense chest day on Monday. My muscles were still sore on Thursday, but to a lesser degree. I didn't hit chest again this week. I'll just save it for Monday again. Same thing with my back workout on Thursday. I'm still very sore and it's Saturday am. This doesn't happen after every single workout, but if you keep changing things up it will keep your body confused which is a good thing and it will allow it to grow. Best of luck

I would advise just the opposite do the cardio in the morning with nothing on your stomach, so only the fat will be used for fuel, resulting in better results.
