I am not fully understanding why dietary fat should be avoided during the duration of an insulin injection. Consuming dietary does not necessarily mean it will be stored as bodyfat. Is the basis of this conclusion? Or does the dietary fat consumed during the onset of exogenous insulin slow down the metabolization of carbs, thus slowing the carbs from entering the bloodstream? This would make more sense to me. | ||

Insulin acts as a shuttle. Eating fat while insulin is active will cause the insulin to shuttle the fat to storage areas. ------------------ "Catch a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime." |
