Which would be best for losing water precontest? How many mgs/per day for how many days until the show. Also how much potassium should be taken?

if you get lean enough and you do the last week's carb/electrolyte/water manipulation correctly, you will not need diuretics....

Lasix is a much more powerful diuretic than Aldactone, but also more dangerous.Alactone is potassium sparing, while Lasix, being a loop diuretic is not.Aldactone is usually taken for about 3-4 days b4 a show at a dose of 100mg per day taken as a single dose in the morning or split into 2 daily doses.Lasix can be taken the day b4 a show w/ a 20mg dose taken every 3-4 hours until a dose of NO MORE than 80 mg 4 the day is reached. You can also combine 50 mg of Aldactone w/ 20mg of Lasix 4 about 2 days to avoid major potassium loss.Personally,I think a mild diuretic is best so as not to flatten out your muscles too much.Good luck.
