I'm really tired of hearing this shit about Ronnie being a Hypocrite for doing juice and being a police officer. I am planing on becoming a cop and I have no plan on stopping doing the gas. I don't think this prevents a man from doing his job enforcing the law and preventing crimes that victemize other people. I think Coleman is a great champ. he went out and Competed at the Arnold when he didn't have to, he is friendly and outgoing although he did have some dumb answers at the Leno show. At least he was making himself availible and being polite instead of feeding the badass roidrage bullshit stereotype that we have upon ourselves. I say good for Coleman for tring to bring some good to our sport. He is not judging you publicly and criticizing you. Stop being jelouse and appriecate what police do which is to serve and protect. This is from me and the hundreds of other apprieciative iron brothers. Thanks Ronnie.     | ||

I won't comment on whether a juicin' cop who arrests drug users is a hypocrite. I will say however that Ronnie appears to me to be nothing but a class act. I was at the Arnold last weekend and I stood next to him in the crowd during the women's fitness prejudging on Friday. I watched about a half dozen fans approach him in a ten minute period. He was so cool to all of them. Name another sport where the best in the world is so accessible and so considerate of his fans. I was impressed to say the least. | ||

Back the Fuck off Ronnie Coleman? What is the problem, dont take it to heart. He 'was' (as in past sense as in he no longer is) a cop and he told frequent lies. Forgive me if I am wrong but the cops are suppossed to be the ones who tell the truth and uphold the law. If a man tells a lie in that position he deserves the flames that come his way. Everyone lies or manipulates the truth at some point for self preservance...it is almost a neccessity in todays overly judgemental enviroment there are great and evil cops just like there are all shades of people...my guess is ronnie is one of the good ones. At least hes not pulling a gun on my wife for having her dog off leash on her own property, while being illeagally parked there and bitching that last time he trespassed he almost stepped in shit. this actually happened last week...meanwhile Im freinds with some cops who are some of the greatest people Ive ever known...go figure!!! | ||

I think most of the problem is everyone else who gets busted for roids by the law enforcement, then you have one of the law enforcers doing the arresting, is doing the exact same thing the criminal is doing. Kinda like an oxymoron. But i have no problem with cops doing juice, i thinks it's great, except with the previosly mentioned statement. | ||

Good post, and no, police depts. don't test for juice. Just like why some high schools stopped doing it, too expensive. Just remember one thing, cops are just like everyone else, some are nice and friendly and others are assholes. Gee, sounds like everyone in society, doesn't it? Funny how some people think a cop is an asshole if he gives them a ticket, but if he doesn't then he's the coolest cop they've met. Just like everyone else who has morals and values about certain things, cops bring these into their job. | ||

2Thick I too saw him on leno a while back and was not impressed one bit. I must say I don't like ronnie coleman one bit. He can be a great police officer , it is a catch situation. If he busts steroid/drug users he is a hypocrite, and if he does'nt he is a bad cop for not doing his job. Police and steroids don't mix. Luca | ||

I dont care if ronie does do roids, and he can deny it all he wants, most people couldnt handle the truth that all pro's do roids, I do think he had dumb answers on leno, and if i wasnt a cop i also wouldnt bust people for gear, i think it should be legal but you should have to write a test or somthing to get them so uneducated people wont use them | ||

Being Mr. Olympia is every pro bodybuilders dream----If he was to tell the reg. people the kind of drugs that got him their---He would be outcasted-----Look how people treated Ben Johnson when he tested positive for winny-----Which come to find out he was not taking at the time(he was doing fake hgh, which he did not know was fake--it was winny------If the reg. people knew what type of drugs our olympic athletes took, they couldnt handle it----There are alot of cops that use drugs in their everyday lives----Pills-alcohol-weed-speed-steriods-and so on---Do you think that these guys should run and tell their bosses that they just got banged up last night, throwing down 3 tabs of x and some G-----fuck N0-----they would have no job ------- they are not hypocrites---- They break laws just like you and me----they just have to be alittle more descrete------They run the wrisk of not only getting busted at what they do but also losing the jobs-----And all this written by a guy that doesnt like cops ---GO FIGURE---I just understand it | ||

ronnie quit the force, but didnt compete at the arnold because he has class! He competed because he needs the $$!! He isnt going to be a pro much longer bros. His body cannot take the level of drug abuse much longer. He needs to get it, and get out of it, which is why he is competing so much now, instead of 1 per year. You are going to see a trend of Mr. O winners only lasting a season or 2. | ||

I got no problems with cops juicing, but heres the thing: When my ass has 3 drinks one night and Im on my way home and one of the cops stop me, I expect zero understanding/empathy/leniancy and typically i think thats what we all get. But now here comes the cop whos basically acting like: "Come on, give me a break like you all don't use AS?? What am I supposed to do tell eevryone I use it??" It just seems like a nasty double standard - what if I got pulled over for being legally dui (but no where near drunk) and stared telling the cop "Come on man, youve done it too..let me off the hook" I wonder what would happen. Like I said I got no problems with Police, or police using steroids, and I think in general none of them go after AS users specefically - but I will give Ronnie the same understanding I expect from the law if I was doing something illegal. I like Ronnie and have met him once at the gym, and I wouldn't bust his balls - and I have never said anything bad about his being in the law enforcement and using AS, but to have people coming to his defense like hes a hero or some shit is absurd. ------------------ For a good time click here: Search and Profiles (300Kleens Board) | ||

He has a job to do and that job is to arrest drug usuers/dealers. its not up to him its up to the law. its not like he has a choice! it would be diffrent if he just targeted steroid users/dealers and went after them. i think Ronnie is a great guy and hes taking bodybuilding to a whole new level, like Arnold did back in his days! Slopain, I see what you are saying about leniency but drinking and driving is not a victemless crime, it has killed many children and entire familys. AS is a crime but it is victemless that is why the comparision you made really is not the best. WC, who the fuck are you to state Colemans motives as if you were inside his head, I'm not saying he why he competed at the Arnold but the fact is that he did. And with his contracts, winnigs and police retirement amongest other things I don't see Coleman going broke anytime soon. And I am always hereing about how he makes time to talk to his fans and is always pleasent to the people he meets. I never said you had to make him your hero, I said to give him the respect he deserves. | ||

Hey Mikey D. I've heard cops say plenty of times that there is no such thing as a victimless crime. So what about people that smoke weed? If you catch some kids smoking weed in the woods or in a dorm room, you wouldn't bust them? Marijuana is as much a victimless crime as AS. I think you are another reason why to many people, cops are all looked to as jerks. Just like you do AS, I'm sure you have smoked a bone or two, and broken a few laws in your time. You are a hypocrite. If you pull someone over, search their vehicle, find AS, and there is a skinny cop there who doesnt juice (or a woman cop), are you going to have sympathy for the guy and not bust him? You will bust him because your job is on the line and there is someone there watching you. You wouldnt want that other cop to think you sympathize with someone doing AS. If cops are supposed to uphold the law and protect people, how are you upholding the law by doing AS? Apparantly you don't really believe in laws against AS. Does that make it alright to do steroids and be a cop? No. Cops are supposed to uphold _ALL_ laws, not just the ones they choose, or the ones they agree with! And THATS what makes you a hypocrite! | ||

If Ronnie accidentally goes 25mph in a 20mph zone should he give himself a ticket?...Laws are some very fine lines, how can anyone morally say which ones are ok to break...cop or not. I am sure there are tons of cops who bust people for speeding, then hop their happy ass in their car and speed home. Cops are subject to the same laws even though they are cops. Hey Bsmooth I figured I would fill you in on something that I guess you missed. I AM NOT A COP Therefore I could not tell you how I would react in certain situations. I really don't see where you get the balls to call me a hypocrite when you don't even know the kind person that I am. Cops make busts becuase it is their responsibilty to the taxpayers who pay thier salery. On their own time they can roll thier own dice. | ||

The only problem I have with Coleman is his voice. Damn, when that big mutha opened his mouth at the Arnold people started snickering. He sounds worst than Mike Tyson. Both of them need to try voice lessons or something. If test deepens your voice like it does womens, then Coleman never did any. | ||

People wake up---We had a president that has had people killed---stolen money --fucked chix---and lied under oath and al0t of america still liked him----Our new president has done coke-x-weed-painkillers-mushrooms--and got a dui------and was still elected------------------------------------------------------I for one think that is good that a cop does AS-------------I hope more and more get caught doing it, then maybe if so many people are doing it, they will take it off the scheld(list)-----Look what happend with weed ---used to be a big offense, and now it is not shit----------------------------------------------------------------------------If american knew the truth about how many cops were breaking the law in some way(drugs included)we would probably lose 30% of our police force----These are just normal fucking people, its a job for most-------------------------Maybe they should test for Anabolic steroids at your job---See how long you have a job-----They are supposed to uphold the law and protect the people-----Ronnie and other cops that are doing steroids are not lying to the people but protecting them from what they cant handle-----and sometimes its the truth that they cant handle------ |
