can anyone tell me the symtoms of an infection............i have redness around the injection site and it looks like the redness is spreading .......im taking t200 and never used it before.......the redness dosent hurt it is just warmer than the rest of my body.......any help would be nice ..later........oh yea ....i injected three days ago.........if that helps....later [This message has been edited by pimpklown (edited March 07, 2001).] | ||

It becomes painful for a peroid of time (2 weeks or more) and/or itchy. Usually, there will be some swelling and hardening as well. ------------------

hey 300kleen.....about your response does an infection take that long to get worse?......because the redness has spread from the injection site all the way close to my knee......in 2 days.......i shot 3cc's into my leg also,do you think that made some weird reaction because i shot so much in one spot..........thanks | ||

Dude, I sometimes get swelling and redness but never down to my knee. You might have injected with a contaminated needle or there were some unfiltered adulterants in the solution. If the swelling and redness persists for more than two weeks, see a physician. | ||

does an infection take that long to get serious......can a bad infection happen within 3 days............i thinking of goin to a doc tommorow......a damn millitary one...........what kinda crap will i tell him.....lol | ||

No, an infection does not take usually that that long to become obvious. I got one awhile back in my quad. I hurt about two days after the injection and kept getting worse. By the forth day I could hardly walk and I had a bump about the size of a golf ball. The infected area was pretty damn warm to the touch and it started to harden up. Give it another day or two then go see a doctor. I went to an urgent care place to get mine drained. It was a common staff infection. Good luck bro, I hope it's not infected. IronFist |
