Other than not going out on nights before you train , I've recently found that Ice Cream, yes ice cream, makes me feel alot better. My theory is that your blood sugar is low after you drik heavily, so eat something sweet to get your blood sugar back up. This is just from my experience - no medical facts. Also valium help clear the cob webs. | ||

Alka Seltzer Plus cold medicine, if you can still find it. Got pulled off the shelves recently, but you can still find it in gas stations. It is extremely effective - especially if you take it before you go to sleep. ------------------ | ||

Mulitvitamin, Cold water, and 30 minutes of intense cardio to sweat it out. Might take two sessions of cardio but you will sweat out your hangover, works everytime. Then your all set to lift eat and go clubin' again that night. | ||

I dont think there is any great cure for the day after 'hangover'. It just happens, and trust me it happens to me also. I'd say the most important things is to drink as much water as you can. Cause basically your dedyrating every time you drink. there is no real cure, if you drink, deal with it | ||

The only thing that works for me is to stay away from the shit when you have to train the next day. If I go out and pound down some drinks, I'm a worthless MFer the next day. | ||

when i have a hangover, all i have to do is drink a coke or two. this is the only time i ever drink coke. i guess it's the sugar in it like those other guys said. | ||

Drink lots of water before you go to bed. I mean lots. If you drink about a case, you better drink about almost a whole gallon before you go to bed. Alcohol dehydrates you. That is why you feel so crappy. My Anatomy and Physiology teacher at college taught me about that. Take about 4 Tylenols and drink at least half a gallon before you go to bed, and you will be fine. Make sure you have eaten alot before you go to bed too. Most of that crappiness also comes from sleeping way too long and missing out on a meal. Bad thing about conquering hangovers though is that you get drunk more since you don't have to pay the price for all that alcohol anymore. Peace out... ------------------ | ||

Dont take Tylenol! Take Aspirin. Tylenol and acolohol together are bad on your liver. Topns of water. 1 regular aspirin with the water before going to bed. A serious B-Complex multivitamin as well. Do the same when you wake up. For SEVERE hangove, nothing is better than the greasiest meal you can get. Bacon, eggs, potatoes, etc. Oh - but that does not work with your training diet? Well nethier does tons of alochol, so dont whine about it. |
