My left armpit had a huge, painful bump that lasted for a few days. I'm on 400 mg Deca/weekly & 4 fina tabs daily (dmso or oral)
WTF?

Get it checked out by a doctor IMMEDIATELY. I'm not joking with this. Swollen lymph nodes are nothing to be joked about.

Not rying to scare you, but get this checked ASAP. It may not be related to gear at all, but is very serious if it is your lymph nodes. Are they still swolen?

Fucking calm down, guys. It could be serious or the cat could have scratched you and you have a mild infection. Lymph nodes can swell at the slightest of infection. So, think, have you scratched/injuried your left arm recently? Either way, unless you're injecting the deca in you arms/shoulders the problem is not likely related to the gear.
Lymph nodes are localized-armpit swelling-arm problem, inner thigh/groin swelling-groin/thigh problem, got it.

Rugger has it right , your probably fighting an infection , a swollen lymph node is not nearly a serious condition .

These other guys may be right but I would not take a chance on a swollen area around a very important area of your body. The lymph nodes are very sensitive and can pose a real problem. They do become swollen when fighting infection. If it has reduced in size I would not concern myself to much, just keep an eye on it. If it is has not decreased take your ass to the Doc or go to WEB M.D. or more info.

It's not necessarily a serious problem but it can be and you won't know until you get it checked out. Good luck.

I get swollen lymph glands about every month in my armpits. They always seem to go away in about a week. I never thought to see a doc about it. What is so serious about it?? What problems can it lead to?

When I was in college/highschool, I used to
get swollen lymph nodes in my neck just
inside the bend in my jawbone about once a
month. I used to never get sick...literally
never. Once in a while my armpits would hurt
as well and have slight swelling. Now my
lymph nodes don't swell up anymore and I get
sick several times a year. It could be
connected....Of course, now I have two kids.
The little rats are germ factories.

Did some research. Lymph nodes filter out your blood as part of the lymphatic system. They filter out infection and toxic substnces in your blood stream. This is why they are so important. They become inflamed when there is an excess of infection or toxins they must filter. This may be your problem. It only gets serious when the inflamation does not go down. If it persists see a doctor. Minor inflamation is normal, but for you guys with the recouring problems, I would get it checked out. Lymph swelling is a tell tell sign of a problem with your immune system and others. It may be nothing, or it might not be. I do not believe there are any doctors on this board, including myself. Take it for what you will.

These guys are right. It is more than likely a swollen lymph node. Lymph nodes are used by the body to fight off infection. You should definitely get this checked out. You may want to have them run a blood test (which is probably what they will do).

chronic swelling or pain is very serious. It is true that minor swelling of lymph nodes (usally in neck) follows some form of sickness, but trust me, if it persists, get it checked out fast, and be persistant with it, some doctors will give you the runaround while even while you have cancer growing in you (a recent experience of mine). What many of us might blow off could very well be the end of us.
