I've dealt with one of my current sources for a year now and last week he sent me some gear that turned out to be fake. I just found out yesterday that what he sent me doesn't exist by calling the manufacturer. I emailed him today and I hope I can salvage the situation but I'm not very confident that will happen. Just a heads up to everyone that even the most trustworthy guys can go bad. Be careful.

no. Its a rough time to call someone a scammer with all the drama lately alot of them were forced out of the business or in hiatus. Unless the guy emailed you and said "thanks for the cash dickhead Ill get reall big with your gear" Id give them the benefit (if they were good). They got it rough right now. peace

to answer your question: no, for most sources its more profitable to be legit rather than scam for short-term $$$. tell him you will send it back and you want your cash back, if he deosnt agree email the guys with the scammer lists.

Not at all!........things happen. If it is indeed fake then a good source usually will make good on it somehow. Give them time to find out exactly what is going on from their supplier, then the two of you can work something out. I have been through this on both ends before and it usually is some type of mis-information.

I know sources have it tough and my original post was not meant to offend the legit sources out there. And I am giving him the benefit of the doubt by not acting rash and revealing him right away as a scammer. I do this because I believe he deserves a chance and the time to respond. What is strange is that he usually responds EXTREMELY quick to my emails and he hasn't gotten back to me yet. I hope it's the case that he received this not knowing it was fake and is working on it. But I'm afraid I doubt that's the case. Up until this product he answered every question I had about gear with an amazing amount of knowledge. The things I learned from him when I was just starting out in one email would take me days to learn in search. But with this he had few answers and the ones he gave were kind of fuzzy. I guess I should of noticed this but hindsite is 20/20. I wish he'd email me to let me know he's trying find out the deal or even email me to tell me tough shit, you've been scammed. Anything beats sitting around not knowing what will happen. Keep your fingers crossed for me because it looks like I might be out $2800.
