How do you get such high amounts of protien per meal? surely you mean per day not per meal. 300g would be like 12 chicken breasts or 6 can of tuna per meal!

I think for your size the calories might be a bit too low. Perhaps adding more "good" fats will be benificial. 59g isn't much to begin with.

5 yrs ago I was 350lbs 51" waist the body fat was near well it was to high to count LOL it took me 18 mths to get to 187lbs at under 3% for my first show and took 2nd at the Conn. it can be done so start slow and remember to enjoy yourself also then a few weeks out fro the show tighten up and no more cheating Good luck Bro

looks pretty good. as you mention its for cutting and not for a contest you should be okay. calories are fine as i think 12 time bodweight is the best way to go for losing fat and retaining muscle.

however i am very big on protein and use 2 grams for every pound. i would think you would want to increase protein to around 400 grams anddecrease fat a tad.

when i compete i use around 10 15% fat (naturally occuring). i also limit my carbs at night.

since you are not competing the cheat day is a good idea to throw the body off and make it not think its starving itself. you'll find this wil spped up you metaboilism. go 1 cheat day every 7-10 days.

hope thi shelps if not drop me a line. make sure you have cardio down and are taking a fat burmner.

carbs are a big isue when traditional diets are concerned.

i love the carb cycling plan....with high days and low days. this keeps your body metabolizing the carbs less efficiently (less efficiency basically means it takes more calories consumed to do a certain amount of work)

not only are carb amounts and carb timing important, but also the TYPE of carb you're ingesting. try eating mostly unprocessed, lower glycemic index carb sources, such as green veggies, yams, oats, brown rice, and legumes. these are the carb sources i used for my show last year, starting 10 weeks out:

broccoli
cucumbers
sprouts
red lettuce
yams
sweet potatoes
oats

i know it's tough not to cheat....so do what someone else said earlier in this thread and add a cheat meal or two every week. i advise against going hog wild for an entire day....one meal should be enough to curb your feelings of deprivity for at least a few days, and eating like crap for a whole day is like taking 1 step backwards....good luck
