Hey gang, I just went to the doc to get a checkup. I got a call today saying the docs want to see me because of the results. I did manage to get the nurse to tell me that my Liver Function Test was at 50, and my TSH was elevated, although she did not know how much. I finsihed an Aratest(500/week/8 weeks)/Dbol 30mgs(1st 5 weeks)/EQ (300-400mgs/week). I have been off completely for about 4 weeks, finished the dbol almost 8 weeks ago.

Does anyknow how elevated my results are? The nurse said that anything above 40 was high. The doc knows that I have used AS (I think I told him I used test), but he does not seem real knowledgable. Should I mention about the dbol and it being 17-aa? Will he know what that means?

Thanks for any help.

Metrics vary from one lab to another, you will need to review them with the doc if you are not familiar with the specific test(s) and corresponding range(s) on your report.

For example: GOT/AST reading of 27 with a U/L ref. range of [15-46] is within "normal" range.

From WebMD:

LIVER FUNCTION TESTS. There are many laboratory procedures that measure some aspect of liver functions. Serum "bilirubin" BILIRUBIN and urine bilirubin and urobilinogen levels provide information about the metabolism and excretion of bile pigments. Albumin and many of the alpha and beta globulins are synthesized by the liver. Disease that impairs their synthesis is shown by serum protein electrophoresis. Blood-clotting tests, such as one-stage prothrombin time, demonstrate a reduced synthesis of vitamin K-dependent clotting factors by the liver.
There are many enzymes that occur in the liver and are released into the blood when there is liver damage or biliary obstruction. The ones most commonly determined in the laboratory are alkaline phosphatase, aspartate transaminase (AST), and alanine transaminase (ALT). AST and ALT are also commonly called (serum) glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT or SGOT) and (serum) glutamic-pyruvic transaminase (GPT or SGPT). Alkaline phosphatase is elevated in patients with intrahepatic or extrahepatic obstruction of bile flow, as in cholestatic jaundice or in primary or metastatic carcinoma. AST and ALT are elevated in patients with hepatocellular injury as in acute viral or toxic hepatitis.

Ive had elevated values as high as 52 but it was on accutane and anadrol at the same time. 50 seems high considering you havent taken any 17alk drugs for app. 10 weeks. I would expect it to be normal by now although 50 wont kill you while your "on".

Do you drink? This can mess up your values by itself. With juice it can be a disaster.

Bump. Any other feedback? I am nervous about my appt. I have had some weird pains on my right side for about a year. Very sharp, right below the rib cage. Never thought much of them, thought maybe it was just a bad cramp......Thanks..
