Has anyone had any success reducing a double chin by exercise. I have a lot of fat deposited in this area. I know spot reduction isn't possible without surgery, but I wonder if building up the muscles might make my chin look less droopy. Any suggestions?

The problem is that I had a double chin when I was a skinny little runt. So I would guess that even if I dropped 50 lbs. it would still be there.

If you had a double chin when you were young and thinner, then it's genetic. You can only exercise only so much of it off, in spite of what others tell you. I know, just had surgery to get rid of the double chin my family is famous for. Some of that fat iscalled "cold fat" which ,simply, is fat you were either born with or gained at a young age. Anything you gain during a cycle or when you become overweight can pretty much be exercised off, but cold fat can't. No matter what you do.Have had several surgeons explain it to me.

do you have a weak chin, or rather a small jaw? I have a couple friends that do and they appear to have a double chin just because the jaw is small.

It may not be fat but a weak chin (where the chin bone does not extend far enough forward). A weak chin can give you a sagging or loose neck line which will appear as fat. This is likely the case if you had a double chin when you were skinny.

Ideally, the chin should line up with the lower lip. Check out your profile in the mirror. If you your chin is receded (does not line up with the lower lip) then you likely have a weak chin. Surgery (where they slide the chin bone forward) can correct it or a chin implant.

yeah-don't underestimate genetics dude-diet cardio and drugs can only take you so far-that is also why there is only a handful of pro bodybuilders yet millions who work out and take performance enhancing drugs.

Ya know you can't just TRY Lipo on that...you do it or you don't. I would get my bf down as low as it goes and try that Thiomucase cream which DOES REALLY WORK at spot reduction....you just need to use it a lot.

PS I saw that chin o' yours on a results pic you posted and its not as bad as the gyno you said you were removing (j/k),but who knows...maybe the doc will cut a deal

Yeah, maybe I can get a quantity discount. LOL Get rid of my gyno and chin at the same time. That would save a lot any way because most of the charges are from the anesthesiologist and misc hospital costs any way.

Hey bud,

Get some Xenadrine. I have been on it for 10 days and the shit works. I have only been consuming 1800 calories/day (im cutting up) and in only 10 days, i went from a slightly droopy jaw, to a cut to the bone "Dolph Lundgren" type jaw.
