Have any of you bros thought about taking this bus/tram to get across the border? Versus the usual method of walking across? Do they search aboard the mexicoach? I may try this myself on my next trip down there and post my experience.    | ||

Yes they do random searches on the buses and if you are American they tend to pick on us more then most...If you are of a body building sature that is another strike against you....... BIZ!! ------------------  | ||

If I was you I would not take it across on my person. Not to be derogitory, but the level and severity of poverty in Mexico is so great that you can get almost anything you want if you got 2 dollars. Get some old lady or cabbie or your source or some one they know to take the risk and get it to the other side for you. Crossing is a crap shoot and sooner than later every lucky peson craps out. The odds greatly decrease in proportion to your size and muscularity. If that person is you, then you will be wishing you spent the $100 bucks instead of $1000's in fines, lawyer fees, and jail time. If that person is them, say a prayer for them and eat the loss. I am speaking from personal experience... don't do it yourself. | ||

hey bro when I go I take the coach, but I dont smuggle any back, they have never searched me when I take the bus back, I think it is better than walking, but I do look like a bb at 230, but they may sense I am not that stupid either to bring it back, try the bus, hints dont keep the shit in its original container, be creative, the worst they can do is dump it out. They have you get off the bus and go through customs, just like walking back over. They also search the bus when you are in customs. Not the best idea. ------------------ | ||

the searches are random and in different places everyday. my luck would be that the day i took the coach, there would be a an all day coach sting. i agree with the guys, if you look big you are a target for customs! you are also a target for the kids on the streets. i have never been asked so much about a pharmacy than the last time i went to laredo in a tank top! | ||
