anyone who knows something about this, please comment.

"So I put 2ml of enanthate into my left quad the other day - no worries, aspirated, but lots of blood as I withdrew. No pain, worked out - heavy front squats - and then it started. Felt like a bruise just right of the injection site, and pain has grown steadily worse. There are no bumps or other signs of infection, but the quad is DELICATE - can barely walk, have to take anti-inflammatories just to get out of bed. Is this an abcess waiting to happen? Should I get on antibiotics? See a doc?"

waddya guys think?

I really won't worry about it yet. Almost every week someone post's a thread here regarding sore injection site, infections, lumps and bumps and as far as I know we have'nt buried any of the gang yet. I've had some really bad lumps after injections, they happen for an number of reason's, but the most common is that you've moved the pin around abit, either sideways left and right or in and out slightly. This happens easier when your shooting oil through small gauge pins, 23g and up. I know alot of bros on the site here will say they don't think 23g is too small, but try shooting with a 21g and see how easier it is. There's a lot less movement, and hand fatigue. I take you you cleaned the injection site and went through and the proper precedure's, well enanth. should'nt hurt one bit, but the injection procedure it self can. Have you ever given blood ?, if so it was taken by a trained medic, well have you ever seen the bruising in your arm after the shot ?. I bet you you never sweated it, because of who took it. But I also bet that if you done a shot and got bruising like those you'd (and most of us) would run screaming to the doctor.
If you have skinny legs try either injecting just 1cc or go into the glutes with the oil, although like I said, the injection procedure can still hurt.

Tell "the friend" to rotate his shots. If I shot in my same quad more than once every 5-7 days, the same will happen.

"the friend" thanks you guys. still painful, and now a little red as well, but won't worry beyond that. "the friend" does rotate sites, though - he's always had trouble with the left quad; just not as adept at that as with the other sites.

he thanks you again.

Massage the quad with a hot towel. Elevate your leg and push upwards withit along the quad. This will help do dsiperse and fluid that may have built up.
