Certainly it is.You would not believe the number of naturally occurring teenage gyno cases that manifest themselves each year.Any time an individual has naturally present high levels of circulating estrogen, the possibility for developing gyno is very real, and not at all uncommon...

I had a slight case when I was a teen without touching AAS. It was around for a year or so, but it went away. Luckily, you really couldn't tell it was there.

is it at all possible to tell if it is truely gyno or if it is just a problem area? what are the differences to look for? gyno would be a terrible diagnosis for him, surgery is $$$$$. hopefully, it can be fixed without it. any thoughts?

I'll bet a bunch of people had it, but it was so minor, they didn't realize it.

Gyno is possible with or without steroid use. There is true gynecomastia, where the breast gland enlarges and becomes painful. It can become very large in some people. There is also pseudo-gynecomastia, which a lot more people have, which is just fatty tissue around the breast area and nipple. It is not true gyno, but it is what doctors or plastic surgeons will categorize it as. True Gyno is not reversible once it has occured. Surgery is only option.
