I started a cycle of 400mg EQ and fina at 75mg EOD 2 weeks ago Monday. Well, I had to drop the fina last Friday because my BP was getting high and I had some bad headaches. Yesterday I took 100mg phenyl-prop and 200mg EQ. Last night, I got light headed and my heart felt like it was going pump itself right out of my chest. I was also having a little trouble breathing and then my heart would race. Today I'm getting the same type of shit, so I obviously can't train. Does anyone ever have these type of symptoms? I'm starting to think it may be panic attacks brought on by my fear of this high BP and HR. The headaches have stopped and I think my BP has gone down a bit as well, because the headaches have stopped. Any help would be appreciated. This is my first cycle in over a year, I'm glad I didn't have the loot to go heavier.

I'd go see a doc. While it is normal to have elevated BP and HR, you should not experience such extreme sides. Try and monitor yourself while off cycle and compare it to on cycle.

Yes, go see a doc. And while you're there, see if he'll prescribe you some valium...if anxioty is your problem. Good luck. Don't mess around with your health. Anyway, if the doc tells you you're ok, and just nervous, you might feel a little better knowing you're not having a heart attack. Cause when the panic starts...it just snowballs. You start worrying about EVERYTHING! Even the air you breathe. At least if you get checked out ok, you can try to calm yourself down with that information.

Thanks for the replies. My Dad is a doc, so I went over and he checked my BP again, 120/90. So that's almost perfect. As soon as I read Mustang's post and did some research, I suddenly felt better. I have all the syptoms of anxiety attacks, even though my pops thinks I'm crazy and I have nothing to be stressed about. I'm graduating from college in May, currently interviewing for jobs, and recently broke up with my girlfriend, and on top of starting a cycle it seems I could be a little stressed now that I think about it. One question. Should I finish up the prop over the next four weeks or lay off?

I have the same problem. Its like sometimes I cant catch my breath. I get an increased heart rate. I think its a combination of anxiety and not doing enough cardio. I started doing some cardio and my symptoms seemed to improve. I've take klonopin and it worked really well but I dont want to get dependant.

Dude I've been suffering from panic attacks for 10 years. They get a bit worse while on a cycle. Avoid caffeine, this will make the problem much worse. You might want to have your heart checked by a cardiologist to make sure there is no problem.

Had the same thing happen to me on a fina cycle...couldn't figure it out.

Quit the cycle and the symptoms eventually quit.

Personally, thought it was stress/panick induced but there is no doubt that it was aggravated by the cycle.

Currently researching this on my own. Would like to know the scientific facts as well.

Ive been on meds for panic disorder for 15 years. The meds wipe out the souce but the associations that existed while having an attack go on. Being in a similar situation when you have an attack can elevate your anxiety level. Your going thru a lot of changes at this time doesnt help. I have found that working thru to be better than quitting. At 2 weeks you would be just starting to see soome results. Fina is some strong shit too. Your body is adjusting since its been almost a year. Finish your cycle or shorten it. Just my advice. I would regret quiting.

PerfectRep

as you already know, I understand completely.

Anxiety is a strange demon. It led me to both eating and sleeping disorders (and later a horrific combination of both).

In your case, I would say that you are affecting your hormonal balance through both juice and eca.

Firstly, if you can quit the eca (or at the very least the ephedrine). Ephedrine alters both ep and norep levels in your brain. These chemicals have a great deal to do with mood and anxiety.

Also, do not use unisom(et all) or melatonin to help you sleep, they didn't work for me.

If I were you, I would talk to your dad (or another doctor) about getting a prescription for Xanax. It is a benzo specifically designed for people suffering from panic attacks. It acts quickly and acutely, and is easier to get a script for than Valium or one of its other chemical cousins. Doctors tend to hand it out like candy. It can be addictive, but if your panic attacks are cycle related I DOUBT that will be the case.
Chances are when you stop suffering from attacks, you will be able to stop taking it.

lastly, If problems persist post cycle (if they are related to your brain chemistry and not your hormonal tinkering) You should look into getting on a antidepressant/antianxiety med (ex Zoloft, Effexor, etc...). Effexor elimated mine completely.

peace... If you want to know more, email me again... been there and it sucks...

Thanks again for the replies. I've felt much better yesterday and today. I even had a phone interview last night and I didn't feel bad except for the first minute or so. I've started taking St.John's Wort and haven't had any caffine or ECA's. My heart was pounding a bit last night, but it went away after I took some deep breaths and chilled out for awhile. I hope this is cycle related, but I'm starting to think I was prone to begin with. I hadn't ever had a anxiety attack before Monday, but I've been close when stressed out. I'm going to cut the cycle to six weeks and take 100mg prop EOD and 400mg EQ a week, leaving out the fina. I think the high BP from fina could have set this off as well. I would obviously like to stay on the EQ a little longer, but I'd rather wait and see how I feel.
