I hate when people ask you that fucking question. I get it all the damn time from the same dumb people who say stuff like, " Do you work out" No, Im 270 and ripping out of my clothes because I play alot of tennis. And then the , "How much do you bench" Im thinking to myself, "This guy doesnt deserve a intelligent response" so I tell him 600 or some shit. I would rather look like I could bench 600lbs and only do 135lbs | ||

People lift weights and take juice for many reasons. I used to only lift weights so I'd be able run faster and be stronger for football, but now that is over and I am focusing more on bodybuilding, although I still enjoy being one of the strongest people, pound for pound in my gym. While the attitude that "who cares how much you lift, it's only how good you look" can apply to many people, it would get somebody killed on the football field... | ||

Perhaps what they are trying to say is this question is asked on average two to three times a month. If you do a search you will find many people have increased their max by over 50-60lbs in as little as a month and it keeps going up there. I am proud of what I can bench but not so proud as that I should have to write a thread about it. To me it is no big deal but each to their own. Peace | ||
