Other than tuna, chicken, turkey and powders... does anyone have any secret foods that are high in protein and low in fat or what?

I've found lean pork chops to have a high protein content, but no pig can beat a quick shake.

Low fat cottage cheese, lean ground beef, and any white fish haven't been mentioned.

Yes Mustang, Moose meat is the shit, but not everybody is blessed by god like us and live in Canada,LOL!

-Is it hard to get in the U.S.?

- I would have to say that tuna and chicken are my favorite by far. I also use shakes but I try to stick with food as my base, except for after training when I want it to be digested fast. I have never tried it, but I heard that shark is extremely high in protein but it is also pretty damn expensive.

avenger, that is true about the bacteria in yogurt, but its not bad for you, the bacteria actually helps you digest your food.

You couldn't be farther from the truth. Yogert should be eaten regularly because of the beneficial bacteria in the cultures...
Especially if you are taking antibiotics.

The name of the bacteria is lactobacilius acidophalus, not E. Coli

Eggs are the best. I eat a minimum of 18 per day. I only eat 5 or 6 of the yolks though. I tried to eat a cool 2 dozen but I puked. And eggs are so cheap - 2$ for over a hundred grams of protien - there almost for free.

I stop at the gas station on the way to the gym and pick up this thick beef jerky. it has 22 grams of protein and 1.5 grams of fat. tastes pretty damn good to.

DEER MEAT is the best by far that you can get in the US. When deer season comes around get off you ass and go shoot you a few deer. Be a man kill your own food. Three deer will almost last you til next season..
