My boyfriend has been on a long cycle im talking about 4 months. I have noticed that in the last week or so he is starting to have massive mood swings. I mean bad. I am wondering if this is do to him being on this for so long. He kept saying he was going to start to cycle off and start his clomid then he would get ahold of another kind of steriod and start doing that one. I am very worried about him. I would like to know if there is anything I can do to help him. Im not sure if I can handle the mood swings if in fact that is what is causing it. Please help me. any suggestions would be great. He started off with sust (injections)i gave them to him and he was doing that along with nerandol. sorry about the spelling. there were some others i just can't remember. now he just started doing deca duroblin. I noticed that his face has been very red and he is breathing alot harder. I am worried about his bloodpressure. Someone please help me. you can e-mail me at [email protected] or reply here. I just need some expert advise. Thanks Theresa

Well I was going to IM you, but appears you have signed off. 4 months is too long to be on, period! Has he had bloodwork down throughout this "Cycle." I use quotations because cycling involves coming off the drugs. He may have become psychologically addicted to the drugs, and as well, his Dopamine and Seratonin production may be nearly non-exist by now, cuasing those swings. He needs to get off them immediately! I will put you on my buddy list in hopes that you sign on sometimes soon to dicuss this with you in depth, more personally. A good friend of mine was on for about 5 months and he figured he could just stop taking the drugs, use clomid and be cool... He now has a presciption for Zoloft as he has nearly no natural Seratonin in his system, LH, LHRH hormones are way low - nearly non-existant, and I'm am having blood work down for him twice a week. (I have an "In" with a lab that will do it for me for free.) Steriods are not dangerous WHEN USED, but your boyfriend has fallen into ABUSE, let me help you...I don't need to see another person or couple go through what my good friend is right now. Also, where abouts are you located, I can see if I can come up with any labs willing to do the work for me - for him - at little or no cost.

Four months is quite a long time for him to be on one cycle, let me ask you this, how many cycles has he done in the past? NOw, as far as the mood swings go, it depends on the individual and how his body reacts under AS. You also have to understand, his testosterone levels are not at their natural levels, and this is going to make him more agressive, and will cause mood swings. Its not healthy for him to finish a cycle and start another one immediately, its recommended to be off at least the same amount of time or longer than the cycle he just finished. Good luck.. ------------------

I just got done speaking with her. We are handling the crisis, lol. It's a bit more involved that what it initially appeared. Let's respect their privacy, and not ask for to indepth questions. Privacy seems to be a very important issue in this case, and it's a somewhat scary situation that she is in, so let's stick to the facts, and not add on any more fear that what is needed. Also, by the same note, don't go too light hearted with this, and set her up for shock if something, god forbid, does happen. |
