I can do 110

I bet I am the hardest here by miles.

Top that

Have u seen the guy in the film Gladiator, the real tall one who pretends to choke on Russel Crowes food then starts laughing, the one with arms the width of the highway, well thats me, I was his double on the physical action shots. That bowl weighed 245lbs you know.

Thats some feat IRON, how did you get started?

Ive managed to curl two marker pens but when I went for the 2 metre ruler I just didnt have it.

I'm gonna superset the 2metre ruler with biros until I feel confident of doing the markers again

Am I going to be the only person that answer this question honestly? This is a good question if people would be truthful.

Oh well, I don't do barbell because it hurts my forarms. But on the ez curl bar on preacher curls I work out with 85lbs 8 to 10 reps no cheating up and down SLOW. Never tried a max though.

I spit up a little bit after that set. LOL My arms are telling me I was a little too "gung-ho" last night. That wasn't typical. Normally I can get 8-10 at that weight.

Serious thing though, does height have any advantages???

Seems to me that most people on here that are under 6ft can pretty much bench better than anyone above.

Anyone know the ads disads?

I am 6ft 4

i dont know about the curl, but in bench shorter arms appear to be an advantage, but it also depends on your experience, if your tall and with a good muscle-mind connection you can get stronger than a shorter dude.

My best curl was with an ez-bar first exercise for the biceps.

I did 125lbs for 6 good reps.

Now I do Seated Incline Dumbell Curls as the first exercise and manage about 7-8 reps with the 50's.

Then I do ez-bar curl with 105lbs and get anywhere between 8-10 reps.

I am 5'6 195lbs with 17 1/8" arms while off cycle

I'm not a bullshitter, but I didn't mention that I used the cambered bar. I alternate every-other week. With a straight bar, I use the 80lb (preloaded) bar to get into the 10-12 rep range.

okay...this post sounds like major bs so far....but I have friends easily curl 135, to warm up for reps, strict ass form too, hell stricter than mine most of the time. But I can hit 125 for one clean solid rep....I'm 16 with 17 1/4 guns, yeah i know i'm above average but don't act like this is unrealistic you can bust ur ass and get anywhere u want...look at kovacs, when he was 19, he tore out 12 reps of 565 like it was childs play.....yeah roids are part of that, but i'm natural and that's my goal too, roids gonna start when I'm 21......but curling 100 ain't no big deal

Spunky....right on...I'd really like to see the pendulum effect of these guys curling 130lbs. Sorry, but I've only seen a few guys able to curl that weight and even those guys swung it up a little. Whatever happened to slow and controlled movements with good form? Try that with that weight.

For those who have doubts about some people bullshitting others. Some might be ,but unless u are totally weak, and if u been lifting for anytime at all, u can lift more than just the 25's on each side. So whatever gym that one guy works out at must be sad if everyone struggles with that. For me i can do preacher curls with a 45 on each side with two 10's added to each side, that for 5 sets of eight. The last two sets i do negatives when i cant finish. Also i do straight bar curls first and use about the same weight for 3 sets of 5 without rocking. I am only 5'9 195 all natural but not for long. My freinds do more than that too. So it sounds like some people on here actually train smart and hard to get the good results and for some they just dont know what it is to be dedicated. These are the one's that are skeptical.
