1) Why is it important to drink 5-6L of water a day, especially during a cutting diet.

That sounds absurd. Try 2L?

Still though, specifically, why that amount? I understand that 2L is good and all, but why? Does it promote fat loss, or gain (if bulking) or water retention? Fill me up on this one.

2) Im cutting starting tomorrow.
Basically taking the BFL approach (+gettin fats from oils) yet with morning cardio, but I have a problem: My gym opens too late.
And right now, going outside is an absolute bitch with the icy pavements of Paris and it's a bitch with the cold weather...I feel very uncomfortable.
Any GOOD morning cardio that can be done indoors without machines?
I can box...shadow boxing is what I have in mind.

Sex? ...tough but can always be arranged.

Calisthenics? for 30 mins though it aint realistic.

I dont got a jump rope.

HELP!??!

PEace

Water in large amounts is essential to ANY hard training athelete. 5-6L isn't absurd. And i could post all day about why it's important - just do it, trust me.
As for your cardio, why not calisthenics?
All you concerned about is the number of calories you burn right? So do higher intensity aerobic/anerobic work and burn more calories - just do it for less time.
10 -15 mins Calisthenics = 30 mins jogging?

Good Luck
