a friend of mine got a letter from customs saying that he shit was seized. He's freaking out because he is applying for a job that requires an extensive background check. Will they be able to find out that someone was sending him shit? He needs your help    | ||

I know this is hindsight but if he knew he was undergoing an extensive background check he should not have used his real name and address. If there is no paper trail I would deny knowing anything about it. It must be a mistake. | ||

he used his real name, but he was at a college dorm not his house. wouldn't customs not have any record of it due to the small amount of the stuff, plus the only info that they had was him name and college address, no soc security or anything else, for all they know he could have been using a fake name and address | ||

I dont think that will be on his record, he wasnt taken downtown and reported or anything, so really there is no criminal record and thats what back ground searches are looking for.  |
