I was at my friends(source) house in Arlington this past weekend, and a friend of his came over to shoot the shit. He told me that he used to workout with Ronnie Coleman. I was thinking "kick-ass" about that time. He then went on to talk about what Coleman used in his cycles. All he uses is Growth Hormone & insulin, but every friggin' day. He also talked about how Coleman didn't even look human because he is so freaking huge. He said that Coleman always said " I could gain about ten pounds of solid muscle in a day if I wanted to". I told this guy that TEN POUNDS in a single day is impossible. He simply stated " You've never seen Coleman in person then, like I said, he's a freak of nature". I know some of you might not give a crap about this, but I found it somewhat interesting. ------------------ ROOK IP: Logged |

How did he get the gyno? All pros want to make you think they only take a little of this or that. The truth is these guys have tried everything and alot of it. Its not about genetics anymore its about chemistry. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Now this may give away to you guys what I actually do for a living, but I met one of Ronnie's bosses at a conference...Deputy Police Chief of Arlington...also a big guy. I shot the shit with him for a while and then asked him the question he probably always gets...so how does old Ronnie pass the drug screening? The answer, "oh he's natural..." right-and my father is Darth Vader... IP: Logged |

Don't know if Ronnie really shot all that shit everyday, but I do know from meeting him a few times that he "in not so many words" pointed me to test, insulin, etc...but the legal route. I don't really think that he is to blame for what he uses. After all it's the dictation by the judges and what people want to see in the mags to match the image of what they see in person. Everyone screams natural but they want chemicle. In the late seventies and early eighties, Ironman, Flex, and the others had guys that were big, but not by structure. Many bodybuilders of yesteryear were very small framed people. Symetry ment a lot back than. Now a days people see a guy who is small framed and they think that person is small period. Symetry faded because people could not understand how someone 180lbs at 5'8" could be big. In pictures they looked very impressive, in real life they looked smaller than any 6foot tall average joe. So the public began demanding impressive size. Thus the birth of Paul Dillet, Nasser, Kovaks, Gruhl, Wheeler, Levrone, and the rest of the groups were born. I feel I am lucky because I am over 6 feet, but my roomate who is 5'8" 180 never seems to get the looks in the gym like "dam", most people say they would be happy with his build. I have to laugh, becasue for his size he is awesome. It would take these dorks their whole lives to achieve what he has, yet when I tell them he is a state champ they can't believe it. Then they say I could beat him. Now I know one day I hopefully can, but right now he would kill me with muscle maturity and thickness, but frame for frame I am a much larger person. He just has more muscle at 180 than I have at 238, for now. Not to mention I'm only 19 and he is 28. Anyway, what I was saying was that this is what dictates the size and why Ronnie does what he does. This is what people want to see from a live appearance. A huge person. So the judges choose this physique. Ronnie is the man....I wonder how long he will live? "I'm Kid Rock and I'm unatural"....... IP: Logged |

Kane, if it were not about genetics anymore and about chemistry. Then everyone using alot of gear would look like Coleman. We can't escape our genetics, only make sure to push ourselves to those limits !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IP: Logged |
