Remember that women don't spend as much as men at strip clubs. They mostly scream and stare. The only way to make real money as a male stripper is at a upper-scale gay club since rich business men spend their money there. Private parties do better business..alot of times some of the older, wealthier ladies will set up parties like this, simply because they dont want the public to see them in the clubs. You can make some killer bucks on the weekends..and if they want you to show your johnson...make them pay... I plan to do a bit this summer..and no..my fiance' dont care about it at all. But it wasn't for me. I know a few guys who work at a bar configured like this: The bottom floor the bartenders are all girls in bikinis, and the top floor they are all guys in bowties and shorts, and those guys make $500 a night on the weekends. Admitedly who would admit that they paid for college in this manner. But I can't help but look at the people on daytime TV who say it's big money yet they drive Ford Fiestas (apologies to all Fiesta drivers ahead of time). Just an observation. IP: Logged

100acrewoods Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 99)	posted March 27, 2000 02:08 AM I know for a fact that the 2 clubs here in our area do not pay shit unless you are one of the main acts. In other words, they stick you on the side stages for 6 weeks until you come up with a routine. THen you can start making bank. Then there are clubs that cater to men. I understand that the pay is not that good, but you can work a little more frequently and therefore make up the difference. Peace IP: Logged

I'm also a therapist with a degree and can't come close to making the money I do stripping by using my education. It's very profitable for women, but I wouldn't bother if I was a man. Anyways, the female body is so sexy and even women love to watch good looking dancers. I would definitely pay for a sexy girl to dance for me rather than a man any day. Puss-Rexx Amateur Bodybuilder (Total posts: 19)	posted March 27, 2000 02:38 PM I've tended bar at joints where men AND/OR women strip FOR men AND/OR women --you pick the combo, I've worked it -- so let me tell you that men CAN make money stripping for women, but stripping for other men rakes in a lot more dough, especially in the "party cities" like Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, and New York. Some of the big bucks come from tipping, but even more comes from lap dancing, prostitution, porn, and all the exciting opportunities you'd expect to run across doing that type of thing. As for private parties, when it's for a girl, it's usually just a party. But when it's for a guy, he's usually expecting something a little ... extra. But I'm friends with lots of strippers who don't get involved with any of that -- no drugs or drinking or any of that other stuff either -- and treat it like any other job. They do very well. Test the waters on the weekends at a joint -- gay or straight, for men or women -- that you're comfortable at, and see what happens. Or go virtual, and set up a for-pay muscle-fetish website featuring pics and vids of yourself. It's a lot harder to start, but the potential pay-off is a lot bigger, and there's no touching involved (unless, of course, that's what you want). [This message has been edited by Ed O.
