Used to happen to me with my elbows, they'd get stuck and then i'd have to really horse it to get it to move and CRACK!!! Found out i had bone chips in my elbows, lucky me!!! All my joints are falling apart, our bodies are too weak.

My knees , wrists , and shoulders have suffered but I find G sulfate and Chon Sulfate to be good.

Also my joints are not so bad when I don't train heavy all the time.

I think I was born with bad joints, especially my knees. My knees had bone chips in them just like E2's elbow. I actually had to have surgery on my right knee to remove the bone chips, the pain was too bad. The thought of ever doing squats or lunges again is out of the question. Needless to say my leg workout is lacking bigtime, but I'm limited to the machines so there isn't much I can do. The only thing I ever found that helped relieve joint pain is to ice down the problem joint after your workouts.
