The best product by far that I have used is canthaxanthin. It natural food dye, colored brown-red, and consumed. It is lipid soluble so during a 5 day loading period it dissolves into the fat right under your skin, coloring it. This gives the skin a very natural even brown-red hue that looks very much like a real tan. The plus side is that canthaxanthin is also an anti-oxident. Also for some reason I don't know, but have experienced and heard from others, it keeps the skin from burning in the real sun as readily as it might usually. The minus side is that the palms of your hands and bottoms of your feet turn slightly orange. It turns more orange quickly if you overload your fat's carrying capacity.

Overall, I love this product.

Hey Packy,

Where can you get that stuff? Does it have a brand name or do I go to the herbal store and say give me Canthaxanthin? Are there any negative effects? How long till you see tan? How dark is the tan? Is it cumulative? Thanks in advance.

All you need to do is types it into a search engine and about thirty places will come up. I just did using www.go2net.com and saw a bunch. Shop around a bit, as some places sell it for much more than others and/or some place is sometimes having a special on it.

Are there any pictures of people who have taken this stuff? I would like to see some results. Most of the websites I checked had testimonials but no hard evidence.
