How many of you guys own an AKC registered pet?? If you do you may be able to get 20,22,25gauge pins legally sent to your house! I've done it 3 times already with no problem. Most states allow you to administer you cat or dog its own shots.Go to Jeffers.com and see if you can. A box of 100 22 1.5" is around 18.00!! Illegal? Maybe in the US. In Canada, I just walked up to the Rx counter and flat out asked for them. Some ask if it is for intramuscular injection, but they can't deny you them if you say yes. At least I haven't had a problem. If they do give you flak, just say you are germinating fungii and you need a spore delivery transport (haha ... worked for me and TOTALLY shut the pharmicist up) and I got a whole box for 10c a pin. It is not illegal in Colorado. I went to the pharmacy today and here was my angle: I asked them what the biggest needles they carried were. Asked for something like 18 guage. I told them it was for injecting fiberglass resin. They told me the biggest they had were 21 so I said "we'll I guess I will try them". When you ask for the biggest they have, they figure you don't want to stick your self with 'em. I did want some big ones for drawing it, then I will shoot with 23. IP: Logged |
