just went to do my first injection did everything like i'm supposed to, but i can't draw the gear out of the bottle some will come out, but as soon as I let up on the plunger, it shoots right back in. help me out. ------------------ the alpha male IP: Logged |

Try shooting some air into the bottle first, it dosent come out very fast so take your time. If its shooting back in when you release just dont release! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Alright. Got the gear in the case. Now I went to inject, and it hurts like hell -- could only get it in about 1/4 inch then pulled out. I've gotten plenty of shots before -- so I'm doing somethin wrong. I'm not a pussy either. I can take plenty of pain, just don't like inflicting it on myself. Plus this isn't just sliding in. I'm using a 22ga 1.5 inch needle. I changed the needled between drawing it up and injected, but I accidentally brushed the inject needle on the table, could that have caused it? Bump. If I wait until tomorrow morning and then try again, and just leave the gear in the syringe, do you think it'll be OK if I just change to a new needle? ------------------ the alpha male IP: Logged |

You can leave it overnight. You should always use a diff needle to draw and inject that way you take full advantage of the sharpness. Also ice down the area first it will numb the area. BTW where are you injecting? ------------------ IP: Logged |

I would change the needle before you inject again if you are going to save it in the syringe overnight. As for the needle not going in all the way, with me there is always a sticking point after the first 1/4 inch or so....just jam it in, it will go. D. IP: Logged |

I tried glute... I will try again tomorrow morning. Turn the other cheek. I think I may have dulled the needle by brushing it on the table. Plus I hesitated, touched it to my ass once, pulled out, then tried again. So it was twice dulled. Tomorrow, though, there's no looking back. I'm going to be Androgeny Incarnate. Just hope I don't get infected from poking the needle in and then just pulling it out. ------------------ the alpha male IP: Logged |

If you brushed the needle against a table (dulled it), that's probably your problem. I've accidentally dulled mine on the bottom of an amp before and when I put it in, it made a terrible ripping sound. Usually goes right in, but not this time, and IT HURT!!! I always use 20G pins and it never hurts, but after I dulled that one by accident, it hurt for days!! Just be a little more careful. IP: Logged |
