I don't know what's happening lately. I'm getting depressed though. My workouts have sucked & I'm not seeing any weight loss. I couldn't even complete 1 mile yesterday & today. It might just be because of the cold, or maybe because I stopped taking my pre-exercise energy pills 2 days ago.
I feel like such a failure though. I just want to cry. Everything seems to be going wrong at a time when I need it to go right.
I was talking to a friend yesterday who was on track a couple years ago, now granted he's not the greatest person to get advice from, but right now he's just about the only person who relates to me, everyone else thinks I'm crazy. He told me for stamina during track & endurance he did speed before a meet. Now I read the post about that, so I know everyone's stanse on the topic, so please don't flame me. I'm against drugs, drinking & smoking. But all of a sudden, well actually it's always been, that my athletic/weight has been more important than morals. Now I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place. The other day while I was eating I was thinking about how good it felt to have energy, as opposed to not eating carbs/starving. I posed to myself a question: Is it better to be happy & healthy, or "perfect", miserable and skinny? I personally couldn't answer it. I'm leaning more to the latter though. I'm just really scared about this upcoming track season, let alone bikini season. My thought and actions have shown desperation. I'm desperate to get my cycle going. I just don't know what to do anymore. It kills me because usually I'm such an upbeat, optimisitc person & I know I should be able to pull myself out of this, I hate complaining to other people. But I really need help & input. What do you guys think of my situation?

I think that everyone would agree that when
you have a cold or are sick your workouts will not be the best.

Right now you may feel that your in a big rut, but if you look back from where you have come from, you will probably see that you are still at a much better level than you were.

Its never a straight line, there will be ups
and downs getting to where you want to be. And you should notice, that you are getting closer to your goals.

Just think about in a few days when your cold is gone, you'll feel a lot better, you can sneek in a little more
calories, take the energy pills, and then go and set a new mark in your training.

cheers
kd

I definately think that's what I need!!
I've been really busy lately and haven't gotten a chance to get online. I've been exhausted!!
I try and stay away from carbs as much as possible because I view them as evil. As soon as I eat them I can see it in my thighs: (
Usually I have such a good outlook on things...that's why it's upseting me now.
Hopefully I'll get my DNP soon. I want t3, winny, & ghb. I don't know what to do!
I'm so confused about everything. I need a hug : (

I didn't have a cold...it was cold outside & I hate running in the cold because I run better in shorts and when my lungs don't burn.
Thanks for the help guys. I'm trying to get back on the postive side of things!

It sounds like you could possibly be overtraining which would cause some of the symptoms you are talking about.

You mention something about how you can't wait to start your 1st cycle. B4 you get involved in any juice fix your depression some other way. I mean look at the situation you have only been off your energy pills for 2 days and your feeling the effects. I can't even beging to explain how much worse it can be if you get involved with steroid use and you run out or your at the end of your cycle. You already said that you don't like drugs, drinking etc so stay away from them. It sounds like the problem may be going much deeper than your leading on to. Juice is something that needs to be heavily researched and you have to be 100% confident that it is what you want. If not then stay away stick to the ripped fuel, healthy diet, make sure you don't overtrain, and look to explore other things of intrest in your life to maybe make you feel better.

I do the 100m, discus, shot put, long jump & pole vault. I might do the 200m if I can increase my speed and stamina.
I've been doing a lot of research lately. I'm just not sure about my situation right now. I don't know if I should take these to get happy with myself, or get happy with myself & then take these, or just not take them (porbably not). Everyone's trying to talk me out of it, but it's really my choice, right? I mean, I'm doing it to improve myself...

But IF you are a girl.........
Are you kidding me about the DNP? You need to be on something like clen. DNP is waaaaay to serious for you if you can't even handle running in the cold. No offense but look at your post name......... DNP is very harsh and knowing you, you'll probably cry to everybody about it.

So, everybody's trying to talk you out of it huh? Why the hell are you telling everybody?
I wouldn't tell my closest friends whom I've known for 18yrs, almost all my life!

If you do the events you listed above, why on earth would you want to run a mile or more? I find this puzzling.

Keep your head up. I agree with oversized. Fix the moodswings first. Then if you decide to get on the juice to improve yourself that's awsome, but don't use it as a crutch right now to make yourself feel better. Try to eat a few carbs for energy. Your body needs a certain amount of carbs as well as some fat just to function. Cutting all of the carbs can have a profound effect on your physical body as well as mental health. I have a computer program that I will send you if you think that it will help you out. You can build a profile for yourself and even create meal plans for you to follow. Email me for details [email protected] . As for your friends trying to talk you out of taking juice. You know your body better than anyone, so listen to what they have to say, but make your own decision. You are the one that matters.

im afraid the solution doesnt lie in any supplements in this case......
heres why
a) I have never seen a heavy pole vaulter or sprinter.....
b) low to no carbs are notorious for making people irritable or even unstable.
c) all the post before indicate some sort of complex where one sees something that noone else does. most bb strive for perfection but arent obsessed by. Anabolics and harsh metabolic enhancers MAY look like the answer but it seems that maybe getting comfortable with your own body structure and, AGAIN, take a step back and look at the situation from another perspective. Not to flame you but you need to have some help in dealing with this emotional rollercoaster you are on.
By all means stay away from DNP! some people just arent ready for it....

Babygirl...What are you running in Track? A year ago I had just quit running Cross Country and track team. Though I don't put in the compettive miles anymore email me your works in the gym and on the track and I can see if I can put anything together....It sounds like you need to re examine your mental approach to everything...I experienced more ups and downs with running then I have yet with weightlifting so my approach to this is alot different then what most people here would do. Examine your workouts and find your strength and weaknesses. Examine your mental approach to workouts and races, and determine where in your workouts and races that you fall apart. Think about your approach to weightlifting and eating.

All else fails email me...

babygirl,

I have been on a protein diet for a while now and it makes me have serious mood swings and depression. It comes and goes during the diet and it will go away when you start eating more carbs. Just stick it out till you reach your ideal bodyfat % and then start eating more carbs slowly

Hey Kiddo,
I know this sounds like another suggestion for another solution, and right now you are probably hearing a million of them.

First of all, realize that while you have a cold, the workouts are not going to be your best. That is just your body trying to fight it off, and your strength and stamina is suffering because of it. Supplement Vitamin C for this if you aren't already.

Also, go and buy a bottle of St. John's Wort. This has been advertised as the wonder drug, but basically it is natures anti-depressant. By the way, how is the weather whereever you are? If it is cold, or rainy, that is probably adding to the moodiness.

Go away for a weekend, maybe just to another friends house and don't go back to your place all weekend long. Go out, have fun, relax whatever. See 10 movies. Do whatever it is that makes you feel happy. Then, on monday try to train again but set small goals that you feel can be accomplished.

Lastly, you are your hardest critic. If you look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are doing well and you are succeeding, then you will.

Just my two cents worth. Keep up the hard work and keep your chin up. It will pay off.

No Deposit, No Return.

Thanks guys, sorry I haven't been around lately, I've had problems with my computer. My server says there's a disk error & when it finally does open it goes sooooo slow! I think it's a Y2K bug, because I keep getting these messages that the certificate of authenticity of some sites is expired because my computer's set for 2000. Oh well. I've been doing ok lately. Some days I just don't know WHAT I'm doing. You've basically all hit the nail on the head. A few years ago I had a severe depression. I went through an absolute living hell. I've been good lately, but you know....everyone has their days. I've been through a lot in my life, and it's only made me stronger, but I still have some days where mentally I collapse. I think I'm going to stay away from DNP and try Clen/t3. I've also found out that what I thought was an ECA stack I took a while ago had willow bark, not aspirin, so I'm going to try it again.
My workouts got better the day after I wrote my post.v The weather has gotten warmer & I gained a lot of motivation. I ran 4 miles 1 day and was the first sprinter to finish the practice run. I only run so much (even though I compete in sprints b/c my coach makes us. The 4 miles is actually for the sprinters, distance runners go further.) I've also incorperated javenille too. I might drop shot put b/c I don't like it.
My diet just gets really crazy at times, and I'm one of those people that feels like I need to control everything, when I feel out of control I lose everything.
I can't beleive you guys still don't believe I'm a girl. I definately am. I'll try to get the pic up soon, I'm not done with my role yet though.
I have a lot going on right now, a lot of pressure (I might get back w/ the guy that cheated on me...we were together for 2 years, I know...I'm a fool, I loved him though : (
Anyway, I'm rambling, thanks for the replies guys!
