I'm in my 5th week of sust and deca. I have made no strength gains or very little to say the least but my weight has gone up 10lbs in the last 2 weeks. It does not apear to be fat although I'm sure some is. I eat about 2500 cals a day 200g of protein. I've been off gear for about 8 months. i don't know what to make of this. If I put on muscle doesn't that go hand and hand with getting strengtgh??????????????? weight is 190 BF is about 10% IP: Logged |

If you're taking sust and deca and you've made no gains and you're in your 5th weeks i'd take a good look at your gear, it most likely is fake, or you're doing something horribly wrong.

That's the thing that is strange. I've gained 10lbs of what appears to be mostly muscle but with very little strength gain. This is my forth cycle and my diet and lifting scheule is good and I know my gear is definitly real. I guess I am wondering if gainig that kind a size can be correlated to minum strength gains. My last cycle which was about 8 month ago I gained about 15lbs on the same gear and gained a great deal of strength. I'd just like to know if anyone else has expirence something simular to this IP: Logged |

It also depends on your age and dosages and prior history with AS. If it's the first time on this cycle and/or the amounts your taking is high chances are it's fake. Otherwise you might be taking too little in your case. If you are young that could affect how much gains you might get. Your genetics are another possibility as well. You will have to experiment and keep track BTW: Weight gain and streangth do not have a one to one relationship. It is very possible to get stronger and not get bigger and vice versa. It depends on your genetics and how you are training/eating , etc. I gained alot of streangth once and almost no weight gain. Sometimes people get stronger before they gain the muscle. In your case it could be the reverse but I doubt it. IP: Logged |

Also , your food intake depends on your size. 200grams doesn't mean anything for someone who is 300lbs and has a fast metabolism but it's too much for a 98lbs "weakling" for example. Your carb intake also can make the difference for muscle/fat gain/losses. Finally , you say it's your fourth cycle so what could be happening is that your body has "adapted" to the amounts and kinds of AS your taking because it has already grown from it. See the above reply for more advice. IP: Logged |

I know that everyones metabolism is different but I would try upping the calories to 4000-5000 a day and the protein to 250-300 grams per day. cheers IP: Logged |
