This week's story is about living longer, better and wiser. The magazine asks Loren Hutton, "what do you do to look good and feel fit?" Loren replies, "...But my No. 1 secret is estrogen. It's good for your moods, it's good for your skin...." Shit can you imagine if a male celebrity replied, "I look good because I take testosterone. It maintains lean muscle mass and improves my mood." Hell, he would not be applauded in this society! The moral here is that there is a definite double standard. But hell, what the fuck else is new! later IP: Logged |

 Because estrogen wasn't pioneered by the Russians during the Cold War, it doesn't have the stigma that testosterone does. Also, no one gets kicked out of the Olympics or other sports for blood doping with estrogen. IP: Logged |

But hell, estrogen and testosterone are both hormones. All things being fair, if estrogen can be used by women for personal use, then men should be able to use test. IP: Logged |
