After I workout, I like to call up the sluts and hit the hot tub with a cold protein shake. Is this good or bad for the muscles? IP: Logged |

I find it relaxing after a hard leg day, but I prefer the steam room on most days. Jon ------------------ IP: Logged |

I agree, Steam is where its at! Its part of my reward for working out hard that day. I cant see the jacuzzi being bad for your muscles after a workout though, somewhat like a hot massage, its just all that clorine smell makes me want to puke. of course ad your sluts and maybe....... Bottom line, if you like, do. No difference. ------------------ IP: Logged |

We bought a hot tub last summer, and while at first I wasn't excited about using it (hard to get into and out of for me). But after a tough work day and great gym day, it's a great blessing. Prices range from 1200 for basic ones to around 6000. Most of them inlcude installation. IP: Logged |

Manipulation of muscle at high temperatures causes a 'catabolic reaction' !!! Steam or Sauna is the way. IP: Logged |

Fact or fiction? I've heard hot tubs affect your sperm count. I've heard alot of guys that use them alot and get tested later on tend to have much lower sperm counts. Just a myth? or does this hold water? (no pun intended) IP: Logged |

I'd do it if I had one. Also heard it can draw out some water from you- increasing vascularity. IP: Logged |

Yes hot Tubs do affect spem counts. High Temps kill sperm. That why men wearing boxers have higher counts then tighty whities. because your sack is further from your body heat. You can have sex in a hot tub after 10mins and not worry about getting the girl pregnant because the heat has killed youre sperm. I'm not exactly sure what the temp has to be but I think its at least 110. IP: Logged |

Private hot tubs are great but the public ones are scary. At the gym (well, not really a gym--rhymes with rallys) I used to go to I got crotch fungus from that damn whirlpool. The steam room is definately the safer way to go (although for me the whirlpool was more effective for relaxing) IP: Logged |
