Have a show in June will be going in the hvy weight open. This is my third show, always looking to trade notes with fellow competitors who have more experiencs than me. Currently on ketogentc diet bf at 12% with 13 weeks to go. Thinking I can go in at 230 lbs. Currently on EQ starting test prop for 10 weeks 100mg eod. Will incoparate winny 6 weeks before show along with some halo. Cardio 2 a day 45 min sessions, training heavy 6 to 8 reps. I feel that light w/ high reps dosen't do anything for me. Since I have test running thru my system maybe I pack on a few pounds more so i'll continue to train heavy. Would like to hear feedback and tricks you have picked up, sure there are people out there with more knowledge than me. Lets pick each others brains. Sure there are other peoplr out there that thirst for this kind of info. And if you people like I can update weekly as to my progress. Looking foward to your comments. Personally I'd hit fina but this is just from what I read and from what people have told me. Sounds like the pre-conest bodybuilers idea drug. IP: Logged |

You can add muscle as you get ready for a show. I always increase my body weight by 10 to 15lbs when I get ready for a show. I usually train each part twice a week. Heavy the first workout(6-8reps) Med the second(10-12 reps) I actually eat more during pre-contest then offseason. I do cardio 20-30 mins in the am. then 6 weeks out add another 20-30mins after workout. Good luck cjac1 IP: Logged |

Well I sure hope I can pack on 5 to 10 more lbs before the show. I still consider myself a novice at competing. Have someone who did the USA walking me thru, overseeing my progress. Will be using prop 100eod since I will be restricting calories and doing cardio, as not to lose muscle. I would be classified as a classic "endomorph" SLOW metabolisism cam pach on size but if not careful caN pack on fat. This is why i'm applying 2 a day cardio feel my bf% is high my calipers say 12% eletricolosis (sp?) at gym says 18%. This is due to me comming off of bulking cycle put on 35 lbs. Had no intention of doing the show in June but so many people encouraging me. Said what the hell. Little nervous at my bf% hope I can dial in on time. Lets keep this topic going sure people have an interest in this. Aloha GROWINGBIGGER IP: Logged |
