Nolvadex...and Clomid...

WCP Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 390)	posted March 18, 2000 02:35 AM I was curious as to why clomid is the choice of almost all Bros over nolvadex? Can someone explain to me what the major differences are, if they are both anti-estrogen agents. I am using clomid on my cycle but just for my personal knowledge would like to know the major differences. Thanx Bros. THESAINT Pro Bodybuilder (Total posts: 131)	posted March 18, 2000 02:43 AM It's my understanding clomid is a mild anti- estogen but mainly is used to kick natural testosterone production back in. Nolvadex is just an anti-estrogen. IP: Logged

This prevents a crash at the end of a cycle. Nolvadex works by competitively binding to target estrogen sites. MC Amateur Bodybuilder (Total posts: 76)	posted March 18, 2000 01:47 PM From what I have gathered from this board so far Clomid taken throughout your cycle keeps your natural test levels up by fooling your body into normal test production despite the presence of surplus extraneous test from the gear. It works by blocking the estrogen receptor sites. Nolvadex appears to be used when symptoms of Gyno are first noticed, i.e itchy swollen nipples. Novaldex actually specifically targets teh breats tissue, which is an addional bonus in trying to get rid of gyno, however novaldex will cut into your gains, so it's taken only whne necessary.
