Greetings gentlemen, I'm new, into the arts, and figure puttin on some muscle will blend well with the whole self defense thing. The only problem is size with flexibility. I welcome any good advice. Thanks IP: Logged |

You can get muscular without being muscle-bound. Keep up your training in the arts and your stretching and lift with an edge on cutting and strength w/o as much emphasis on size. There's a billion ways to skin a cat, do your research and pick a program that matches your goals... no need to re-invent the wheel! ------------------ IP: Logged |

OK, thanks for the reply man. I know at the local Barnes and Nobles they got a whole lotta books on lifting. Thing is, it just seems, commercialized or something, like every workout is the one to use. I'll just have to pick up a routine a try it out. IP: Logged |

Welcome Bro, Ive been studying the arts myself for many years. If you stay on top of your stretching routine I wouldnt worry about it. Muscle mass can actually aid you in harder kicks and increased flexibility. Good Luck Bro, WCP ------------------ IP: Logged |
