I am started my first cycle this week of just plain Deca. Yeah, i know most people say to do a heavier cycle the first time, but i just want to make sure i can handle everything before i move on to the bigger boys.. Anyway, I was just informed that this trip some buds and I were planning on doing toward the end of march, is only going to be available the 15-25th of April. This is right in the middle of my cycle!! (not to great of planning) I am still going to take the deca with me, but there aren't going to be any weights or gym equipment there. Not even sure what I an going to lift, but I'm sure i'll find something. Anyway, my question is, how much of a difference is that one week going to make? I mean, as long as i still eat right, and try to find some sort of weights to toss around, is it going to tatally fuck up my whole cycle? I am taking the Deca at 200mg/week for 8 weeks. (I am not expecting huge gains here, but just want to kind of get my feet wet)

YES YOU MUST LIFT TO KEEP OR ENHANCE
YOUR GAINS.STEROID MOLECULES BIND TO
STEROID RECEPTORS ALLOWING FOR PROTIEN
SYNTHESIS TO OCCUR. THIS ALLOWS PROTEIN
MOLECULES TO INCREASE THE SIZE OF THE MUSCLE.
NOW THE MUSCLE EXISTS IN AN ENHANCED
STATE. TO MAINTAIN THIS STATE, RESISTANCE
TRAINING IS NEEDED. WITHOUT THIS
STIMULATION THE PROCESS WILL REVERSE AND
THE MUSCLE WILL ATROPHY. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Yes, I understand that. But I meant in terms of overall gains from the cycle... I know that week is going to be a bad one. I don't really expect much, if any, growth that week. But, do you think that that one bad week out of 8 would really destroy any gains i would have made? or would i still make decent gains? If it is really going to mess up the rest of the cycle too then I think i might just cancel on the trip. Thanks for the response

train real heavy week before trip- lots of heavy negative work- tear those muscles down- so that you will want a week off. do some light stretching, calesthenics and muscle flecing during week off.

im not speaking from experience but i don't think it will matter much. people have used steroids without working out and still built a small amount of muscle. if you take steroids but don't work out you will build more muscle than if you worked out without steroids.

so basically, for that week the gains will come slower but they will still come. as i said, i read a study where they found that taking steroids and not working out built more muscle than working out without steroids. you won't go into negative nitrogen balance. even if you don't work out i am pretty sure you will still be in a neutral or positive nitrogen balance.

Joseph_stalin COULD YOU TELL ME WHERE
YOU SAW THAT STUDY. I DON'T BELIEVE
SOMEONE COULD BUILD MORE MUSCLE ON GEAR
NOT WORKING OUT, THAN SOMEONE WORKING
OUT NOT ON GEAR. YOU WOULD BUILD MORE
THAN SOMEONE NOT WORKING OUT AND NOT ON GEAR.
NOT SAYING YOUR WRONG, JUST WOULD LIKE
TO SEE THE STUDY.

mr. stalin is right
the study that he is reffering to is the NEJM study with 600mg of test enanthate for 10 weeks- the non work out gear enhanced subject gained like 10lbs- I dont remember exactly how much but it was more than the non gear guys who worked out

Saint--there was a dramatic difference. I remember reading the abstract 3-4 years ago. Perhaps I (or one of us) can find it in a medline search and post it. Mick--hit it hard like Macro said before you leave and take it easy while you're on vacation--the gains will still roll in so long as you don't party much.

goto the NEJM website do a search for
testosterone, 35 articles will come up.
http://www.nejm.org/

and www.steriodlaw.com
read the health issues.

or roid.com, the roid files 2 articles there

basically it looks like if your taking gear, you gain more than non-gear users, whether they are weight training or
not. Geez how's that? I'm sure we all trained naturally at one time, and actually I still am, I'm about to do my first cycle.
But now you kinda think all that sweat and
where would I be if I had been on gear. I guess everyone can say that is was good base
building for the gear run.

peace
kd
