I am pondering the idea of moving to a cooler climate (I live in the south US) what country in europe answerz yes to most of the following? 1-English speaking(or I can at least get by with only knowing english) 2-Cool about 50-60 in the summer 3-Not a tremendisly high cost of living 4-not much crime (or at least less than US) 5-juice is either legal or not really frowned upon like here. ( don't EVER want to have a roomate named BUBBA who likez my arse) there are more but this will get me started. THANK YOU  IP: Logged |

Since Europe is the "old country", you will not find a country with a low cost of living. Why don't you just move to San Diego. It is a beautiful 60-70 degrees in the summer, has low crime, and is 30 minutes from Mexico. The only European countries I could recommend would be Denmark or Spain, but they are expensive.
