I only asked if discoloration around an injection site is bad or normal and I got flamed and deleted. We are allowed to ask questions on the board right? Tonight I used 1 inch needles for the first time and after injection my injection site was a little pailer then the rest of my cheek. Does this mean I missed the muscle? The paleness went away after a few minutes. IP: Logged |

I erased it not becuase of the question but becuase of the answers. to answer you question: it is normal- it is a result of the trauma of the injection- 1 inch is fine- since you said you were lean, if the needle is all the way in you have nothing to worry about. BTW- the only thing you need to worry about is hitting a vein or nerve- vein means blood on the draw back of the plunger- if you hit a nerve- you'll know- but there just are not to many back there ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hey, I don't know why they deleted your post. I have never heard of anyone getting a pale area 4in in diameter around an injection site. BTW Don't pay any attention to Taco, all he has done is fuck around on all of his posts. He should be booted from this board soon. androx IP: Logged |

Thank you Mac and Androx, disregard my Email Mac. It's nice to know there are still some pro's on the board that give good advice. I'm getting sick of all the flames on the board. [This message has been edited by Mr. T (edited March 15, 2000).] IP: Logged |
