What guage/material should I use to filter Sus? I have seen many kinds of filters w/ different pore sizes and different materials the filters are made of. Any help is appreciated. IP: Logged |

I assume you mean to filter out any glass shards that might land in the oil. I never use anything; I've never gotten glass in my transfer. The older A-kits used to contain coarse filters in addition to the .45 micron one, but I don't think they do anymore. I really don't think it's worth worrying about. If you have access to laboratory supplies, though, it never hurts to look and see what you can find. IP: Logged |
