Macrophage69alpha good to see your on the board. What does that handle mean? I know a macrophage is a phagocytic cell, I believe it's like a leukocyte in that it destroys debris or foreign matter. Is a macrophage69alpha a specific phagocyte or did you just make up the name? IP: Logged |

well, as far as I know, 69alpha, is not the specific designation for any phagocytes. I like the concept of the Macrophage- more so because of the latin from which the name is derived, however the actions of the macrophage-engulfing and consuming foreign bodies- is also a reason for choosing this call sign- the 69 is a little sexual humor which ties back into the latin meaning.
