Laredo area, is very tricky, the pharmacist will sell you just about any kind of AS, but most of them work together with the border police. I have an experience where the pharmacist ratted us out and when we hit the border, they were waiting on us and had all of our descriptions, license plate #, etc. I personally found it much easier to get stuff across at Jarez, the mexican side of El Paso IP: Logged |

there is a small town on the Mex side of McAllen that is good. But you'd better take a 4x4, cause the roads are not paved, and the vet places are closed on Sunday. The only prob is that there is not too much traffic in and out, so the chances that you will be sent to secondary inspection are high. But if you are willing to take the risks, prices are cheap for the vet stuff. IP: Logged |

DOWN BY McALLEN(REYNOSA) ETC. THEY USUALLY GO BY THE BOOK. YOU WILL HAVE TO GET A SCRIPT. FROM A DOCTOR AND THE PHARMACIAS WILL ONLY SELL WHATS ON THE SCRIPT. YOU CAN GET ANYTHING AND ANY AMOUNT IN LAREDO BUT I HAVE HEARD THE BORDER PATROL WAS WORKING WITH SOME PHARMACIAS. I NEVER HAD ANY TROUBLE, I WALK IN. IP: Logged |

Laredo is the place to go but never drive across there. Walk across and pay a mexican to walk gear through customs for you just give them $50. Its better than getting caught and paying a $500 fine. IP: Logged |

A Mexican has to be a US citizen to come across, and most do not have green cards, not to mention a Mexican is WAY MORE LIKELY to be stopped crossing into the US. Mr. laredo do you actually do this? If you say yes, I am sorry I don't believe you. Just my 2 cents...I am not from this country, and I know what the B.P. is like. Anyone follows that advice and you are sure to end up arrested. <To each their own, just trying to help> IP: Logged |

Hey KIDROCK, Mr. Laredo is correct. My friends go to Mexico about once a month, and they always pay a mexican to walk it across for them. They pay an extra $50 to $100, but it's better than taking a chance on getting caught. It may seem crazy, but it hasen't failed my friends yet. I'm not flaming you, I am only stating the facts. ------------------ ROOK IP: Logged |

Hmmmm, must say I have never personally tried that. I do know that the Texas border is being watched very closely right now. I personally would never trust anyone but myself. When I went across there were very few Americans getting stopped. Just Mexicans..every time. IP: Logged |

I liked Laredo, I drove across, got everything I needed and went back. I have heard there are a lot of narks that the boarder patrole pays along with people at the pharmacies. I have been searched every time and they never came close to finding the stuff at the boarder. IP: Logged |
