I have now added Steak to an endless diet of chicken and eggs and powders. I am sure that I read that Red meat has a better bioavailibilty than chicken. I always read that red meat is bad but I am not sure that the people that say this are the same scaremongerers that lie about eggs.. So members of the board: Red Meat? Good or Bad (I am talking quality cuts of beef steak, not crappy minced meat products) IP: Logged |

I love red meat. Tenderloin, flank steaks, ground sirloin, sirloin steaks, round roasts are all lean. I trim the shit out of everything and pack it in my piehole!!! IP: Logged |

Yeah red meat is great, and it's a nice change up for the chicken. The chicken has a lower fat content and a higher protein content, but you've got to change things up.

mmmmm....just finished a smorgasbord of red and white meat. chicken and steak done to perfection on the old george foreman grill. red meat is a good change of pace from chicken. as for increasing creatine uptake? i believe red meat is the source of creatine. something like 10lbs red meat=7 grams of creatine? ballparking here. or so says the mighty bill philips of the infamous EAS megacorporation...lol. :P ------------------ IP: Logged |

You must have red meat on any bulking cycle. It is just to important to leave out. And yes, creatine does come from red meat. Your body must have fats to survive and grow. It is sugar you need to remove. Grilled is the way I prefer most. Another option is ground turkey. Can help take the place of hamburger when your cut'en. Late Lobo IP: Logged |

red meat is soooo good for your blood. I have to have it!! It has a lot of vitamins. It helps my liver too. My body produces too much billy rubin a blood component in your liver. So when my eyes & skin get yellow I usually need iron...great source of it!!! I guess it helps since most riods are touch on your liver. Eat up! Nikki IP: Logged |

I eat red meat at least four times a week. I always feel stronger the day after a hearty steak. For those with fat wallets, see if you've got a Ruth's Chris in your area. You can't beat that place for excellent steak. http://www.ruthschris.com ------------------ IP: Logged |
