Hey guys, what is your all expereince with gettting sick or the flu. I woke up yesterday and I was sore, tired, had a fever, and sore throat. Should I lay off for a couple days? Am I gonna loose size, and strength. Any info on how I can beat this crap, let me know. IP: Logged |

It sucks, man. One day, feeling strong and in control and the next, WHAM!, sick and feeling weak as a little kitten. Whether it's a cold or the flu, I think you'd be better off just staying away from the gym (besides, I hate it when somebody comes into the gym sick). Your body is trying to fight whatever the illness is. Just try to keep your fluid and protein intake high; you might also want to increase the vitamins and minerals. And try to stay positive. It won't last long. And when you get back to the gym, don't expect to pick up where you left off. It'll probably take a few days. Take it easy and get well. IP: Logged |

Got it during my cycle. Could not get off the couch for three days. Best part, I got friggen ripped because I did not feel like eating that much. I made an effort to get to the gym but I almost passed out while doing leg presses- ------------------
