There are several potential solutions to your problem. 1. Chance your rep range. (i.e. from 6-8 to 10-12) 2. Slow down your movements and squeeze your back together (like you are trying to crush a walnut between your back) when you are benching. 3. If you are using the barbell, then totally switch over to dumbells for 6-8 months. 4. Include tons of incline and decline dumbell press and do flat bench last in your chest routine. 5. Do chest twice a week with one day being light and the other heavy. 6. Always work out to failure. This may seem like a simple concept, but most people forget how important it is for growth. Your last rep of every set should be barely accomplished without a spot. 7. Do heavy negatives (with about 110% of your max) for 6 weeks {with a spotter, of course}. Could be you have a flat rib cage. This can make your chest look small. Try doing ribcage expansion pullovers, like arnold used to do. The more depth on your ribcage the bigger your chest will look ------------------ IP: Logged |

I have always found flyes to be the best chest exercise as far as growth. Also, I get more growth from dumbell presses than I do from regular bench presses. (Pecs get a better squeeze at the top) Flyes with a negative on the last rep will rip you apart. IP: Logged |
