I've been doing a lot of posting on Baseballboards.com as I am a baseball player. I like to stir things up a little bit over there. This means that I post opinions that aren't popular to hometown fans. Examples are, "Barry Bonds makes me sick," and "Sorry Red fans you're in for a disappointing season, here's why..." I just had my account deleted over there last night. Following this deletion I got an email from the head moderator apologizing for my deletion saying he didn't do any research before doing it. I've since taken it upon myself to try and inform everyone on that board that the moderators hold way too much power and that anyone has a right to express any opinion, popular or unpopular. These boards should be a source where people can do just that. This board is a good example of that. Really, the only problem over here is the posting of sources and the moderators have done a great job at controlling that. ------------------ IP: Logged |
