I personally spend 2/3rds more time on the incline than the flat or decline. It gives the chest that fuller look, so if you're like me lets hear some maxes ( Barbell and dumbell)

Barbell 355
Dumbell 150

Ps. no hammer strength !! lol

i normally hit up flat first but after that i go to incline and can get 205-225 as a working weight. dumbells im not sure. i use 90s for shoulders so i would imagine its a bit more.

No bragging rights here. Just that six months ago and 1 cycle on Omnedren earlier I maxed Incline barbell (after flat set) at 95lbs X 8reps. And dumbell incline when done first of 40lbs ea. X 7reps. was 5'11" and weighed in at 210lbs soft tissue. As you can see I was a monster!
Now 6 short months and 1 - six week cycly of Omnedren alone I can:
barbell incline 185 X 8reps
Dumbbell incline 90's X 8reps
I'm not moving any mountains like E2 but am both proud and happy with my personal gains and anxiously look forward to the up and coming next three months. I have the gear pack on the way!!!!!

Cannonball, those are very impressive gains. I was in a similar situation. probably eight months ago, i was flat benching 85x6 reps. I managed to get that up to 225x6. Keep up the good work.

Do you guys mean 155 and 175 on the barbell??!! Or 155's and 175's on dumbell incline -- that would be much better; but, I am not dissin you guys if it is barbell you are talking about. I just think that you guys should maybe work on your incline a little bit more.

Pheind, you have to keep in mind the fact that I could only do a maximum of 20 pushups at one straight shot. I wasn't fat per say, but I never really realized how weak I was until I started going to the gym. No offense taken by your comment, but if I may, how long has it been since you have gained 40lbs each arm X 8 reps in one of your lifting excersizes. In just six months. If everyone on this board made 80 pound gains in just six months then the guys who have been lifting for five years should be putting up 220 pound dumbbells. You might be stronger no bro, but I'm gaining on you fast!!!

i have allways tried to push the same weight on :-
Incline
Decline
Flat

Start with a different excercise each time.

up to 275 on all except flat.
4 sets 1st 2 12 reps then max out a 8 to 10.

I work out to look good. Not so much strength. However, I am not weak either, just average.
